This intensive one-day class builds upon and refines the skill sets previously established in DPM while also introducing shooters to new drills, cutting-edge concepts, and core shooting principles.

This class is designed to take your skills to the next level. Students will discuss and learn the fundamentals of moving and then shooting, receive in-depth training on malfunctions and how to clear them, learn different reloading techniques, discuss different sight picture options and how they relate to speed and distance, learn one-handed shooting techniques, and get comprehensive training in foundational handgun marksmanship.

Equipment List 

  • Quality functional semi-automatic pistol – Full size and compact pistols only (semi-auto center fire pistols only - revolvers or .22 caliber pistols are not allowed)

    • No micro pistols or pocket pistols to include: P238, P938, P365, M&P Shield, Glock 43, etc.

  • 3 magazines minimum

  • Optional, loading devices

  • Dominant side, hip-mounted holster or dominant side, belt-mounted holster

  • Magazine pouch(es)

  • Sturdy belt at least 1.5” wide

  • Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning

  • Clothing suitable for training in any weather, pants must have belt loops

  • Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses

  • Earmuffs and earplugs

  • 350 ROUNDS OF AMMUNITION
